About us

My name is Drew Napp, and I own and operate Landon Yacht Surveying. I bring 15 years of experience across many aspects of the maritime industry. I grew up working on boats, including my own, which led me to pursue a career in the maritime industry.

I graduated from SUNY Maritime College in the Bronx, New York, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation and earned a USCG Third Officer Unlimited License as a Merchant Marine Officer. I also attended Broward College in Pembroke Pines, FL, where I earned an Associate of Science degree in Marine Engineering Management.

My maritime career has taken me around the world, including four transatlantic crossings, and has provided me with a lifetime of valuable experience. I have worked aboard merchant ships, tugboats, and yachts. I have also worked at Scarano Marine in Fort Lauderdale, FL, specializing in diesel engines, marine systems, and electrical systems; Jersey Cape Custom Yachts in New Jersey; Willis Custom Yachts in Stuart; and Hinckley Yachts in Stuart.
